Ready to get on another drift train? Robyn calls you with a new event up in the Crescent Mountains. The race starts going uphill and ends with a downhill run.
Objective: Run the synchronized drift with Robyn and get at least 25,000 Drift Score to win.
Robyn likes to drive fast, which makes this drift train challenging. If you crash or get behind, it’s hard to catch up with her. So try to stay ahead of her as often as possible. Race toward the first turn, then drift around it to start the scoring. It’s immediately followed by a sharper turn to the left, so pick up maximum speed and drift around it, as well. Continue accelerating toward a wider turn to do some more drifting.
Slower traffic can really ruin a drift. Look ahead and watch for trucks going around turns, then decide where you need to pass them (on the inside or outside) so you have enough room to drift. Run into them and you lose a chance to score on that turn. At this point, you have a couple adjacent and alternating turns. Take them both fast and get some more Drift Score.
Sprint along this speed run at the top of the course. Robyn flies along here, so even if you were in the lead, she tries to get out in front of you here. If you have nitrous, use it. You need to get out in front and stay there.
There’s a tight turn at a roundabout. Cut on the inside rather than going the long way around it. With the speed you gained, you can get a lot of score here if you don’t collide. Then accelerate to make another fast turn at the intersection.
Maintain your velocity as you go around the lake. Hopefully, you have plenty of score that you don’t need to worry about drifting around this wide turn. Instead, Robyn turns this section into a race, so just stay with her. At the intersection, drift around the turn to the left.
The final leg offers two good turns for picking up any remaining Drift Score you need. Robyn flies down this section, as well, so stay in close if you still need to do some more drifting to win this event.
