Need For Speed eGuide Walkthrough Build

Red Makes It Faster

Amy has set up a time trial for you to try out. It starts out in Burnwood and takes you up into the foothills of the Crescent Mountains for a taste of hilly turns. Finally, you end with a sprint through the city streets of Burnwood. Furthermore, in order for this to be a valid run, Amy wants you to hit 150 mph.

Objective: Run the route as fast as you can. Finish within the target time of 3:13 and hit at least 150 mph to win.

The first leg of this race is a sprint. Get going as fast as you can here. You most likely won’t hit 150mph in this stretch because you have a turn toward the end and need to start slowing. As soon as you get around the wide turn to the right, you must turn left onto another street, followed by a sharp turn to the left. Stay in control here to avoid running into walls.

Turn left onto the road that takes you up into the mountains. Get through the series of turns by alternating between brakes and throttle. After rounding a wide turn to the right, you have a long turn to the left where you can pick up speed.

You now have a series of turns that takes you back down the hills toward Burnwood. At the bottom, expect a couple sharp turns onto city streets again. Since they are wide, you can hit them fast and powerslide around the turns.

Once back on a main road in Burnwood, follow the long, wide turn around to the right. The road is divided in some places, so don’t hit any obstacles. At the end of the turn, you have a sharp, 90-degree turn to the right. Slow down before taking it, then accelerate through a couple turns to pick up speed.

This is a straightaway through town and the place to hit 150mph. Get going as fast as you can. If you have a nitrous system, punch it for that extra boost of speed. The street is wide here, allowing you to take the long, easy turns without the need to slow down.

After completing your speed run, you have a turn to the left. It’s wide, but can come at you fast. Slow down as you enter, then accelerate out of it and sprint all the way to the finish line. You should be able to reach it with time to spare.
