Each of the five storylines has its own final event and celebration. However, once you complete all five storylines, you receive an invitation from Robyn for a race with the rest of the gang. It’s a circuit race from the top of the Crescent Mountains, down to the bottom, and then back up again for a single lap.
Objective: Race to the finish line and be the first across to win.
Since you start at the top of the dam, you have a straight run for a bit where you can reach your top speed as you begin heading downhill. However, as you approach the first turn, slow down. Take the turn and then speed up. Continue doing this through the next several. Often a tap of the brakes is enough, though it may take a bit more since you are going downhill.
This section is a speed run, so let ’er rip. Just be careful of the turn near the end of the tunnel, which can catch you by surprise when racing so fast.
After rushing through the intersection, you hit another series of turns. Don’t go too fast through this section. Just stay with the pack. At the end of the turns, sprint toward a left turn that takes you back up to the top of the mountains again.
For the first part of this leg, hit the gas and sprint up the mountain, then slow down as you approach a series of turns. The latter turns have some distance between them, so hit the gas as you exit one, then slow down as you enter the next. Continue around the monument, then use caution along the two alternating turns that follow.
Now for the uphill sprint along this section that’s fairly straight with some long, wide turns—you don’t even need to slow down for these. Maintain your speed and watch for traffic. This is where your horsepower really matters.
At the end of the speed run, you have a tight turn to the right, followed by a hairpin turn to the left. Slow down before you enter these areas or you’ll definitely lose control and run into the guardrail. Continue around some more turns with a short straightaway. As you approach the finish line at the top of the dam, slow down for those last two turns since you need to take them both under control.
