Amy has a treat for you. This is a togue down the Crescent Mountain roads that combines drifting and racing. Score is what matters, so tune your car for drifting at the garage before starting this event. You want to stay in front of the pack so you earn more points for drifting.
Objective: Score the most points by drifting to win.
The challenge begins near the top of the mountains and you race downhill most of the way. The key is speed. Don’t worry about drifting around each and every turn in the road. Since you score more points by being out in the lead, it’s better to think of this as a race. There are several turns in the first section. Race to each and then drift around them.
You have a straight section here, so race to get out in front. Use nitro if necessary. Try to get to the hairpin turn first and drift around it. Be ready for the immediate turn to the left—it can take you by surprise.
While there are some slight turns here, don’t waste time or speed trying to pick up a few drift points here. This is a speed run and you must finish first.
At the end of the speed run, slow down a bit, then drift around a couple turns and pick up speed so you can get around the monument. You need some speed to make it all the way around.
Race through a couple slight turns and don’t start drifting until you get to this 180-degree turn.
Drift through the remaining turns to score as many points as possible before you take a tight turn at the intersection and continue to the finish line.
