Head back to the shop and tune your ride for grip. Amy has another run up the mountains. This time it’s a sprint race. There are six other cars involved, so you must also watch out for them as the turns in this event can get crowded. That’s a good reason to get out ahead and stay there!
Objective: Race to the finish line. The first one to cross it is the winner.
You start out in Burnwood and have a couple tight turns at intersections with a straightaway between them. Try to get the lead before heading up into the mountains.
You hit a series of turns here. Speed into them, then let up on the gas as you go around to maintain control. Your car should have the power to pull ahead in between the turns.
Pick up speed as you race through the intersection and continue along a wide turn. Continue through a series of turns again as you head downhill. Tap those brakes to stay in control.
Powerslide through a couple left turns at intersections, then start climbing back up the mountain. Watch those two turns after the tunnel. They come up fast and are a bit tighter than they look because you’re hitting them with a lot of speed.
This is the speed run of the course. Relatively straight, you are heading uphill. It’s where the other racers try to catch up and pass you, so keep it going fast and use nitro if you brought it along.
After the speed run, the sharp turns can be tricky. You can’t afford to crash here, so let off the gas and even tap the brakes to get around them. There’s not a lot of room to accelerate here since the finish line is right after the last turn.
