While you’re waiting for Magnus to respond to your latest exploits, Spike lets you know about a circuit race around Burnwood. Since you’re no longer limited in horsepower, be sure to head back to the garage and pick a high horsepower and high speed car for this event.
Objective: Race to the finish over multiple laps. First one across the finish line wins.
Get a fast start on the straight section here before you hit the turn to the left. There should be no need to brake as you enter this turn since it’s fairly wide and you’re still getting up to speed. Let off the gas if necessary, but be ready to accelerate through the end of this turn and race into the city.
Take the turn leading into this section to the inside. If you go too far to the right, you can hit obstacles that result in a crash. Also, don’t run into the back of other cars, even if they are going the same direction as you, since you’ll still collide at a high rate of speed.
The turn is fairly wide as you reach the top part of town. Let off the accelerator if necessary, then throttle up into the straightaway. The few turns you encounter are mild.
Slow down as you enter this left and then right set of turns. By the time you exit and begin the larger turn to the left, you are already slow enough to accelerate through this turn.
Maintain your speed as you race toward the freeway and then under it. As you approach this turn, let off the gas and slow down a bit to maintain control. While it’s not tight, you are coming at it at high speed and can lose control.
This final turn to the left is wide, but can still get you. Accelerate toward it and then let off the gas as you take it on the inside. Start accelerating when you reach the middle and continue picking up speed as you race down a straightaway to begin the second and final lap. Use the same tactics as your first lap to win this circuit race.
