Amy’s next event is a time attack. This is located on the little island between Burnwood and Franklin Terrace. Don’t worry about getting up to top speed here because you won’t. Instead, it’s about control and short bursts of speed.
Try to get the best lap time during this two-minute race, which also has a requirement: You need a car with at least 350 horsepower. Customize yours in the garage so you can enter this event.
Objective: Set the best lap time on a short circuit against the clock. Drive as many laps as you can in the time limit. Fastest lap time wins.
You will make multiple laps around this short course. There are lots of turns. The first one can be tough because you enter with a turn to the left and follow with a long turn to the right around a monument.
As soon as you get around the monument, hit the gas. You have a short sprint to a tight turn to the right. Try to powerslide around this turn and then accelerate toward the next turn.
This is a hairpin turn to the right. Be sure to slow down before you start turning and enter this one or you’ll slam into the guardrail. Powersliding is an option if you can make it all the way around.
While it may not look bad, this is actually the toughest spot. The reason is that, while the turns are not tight, you have a left, right, left combo. You might be tempted to speed up during this section, but if you accelerate too much, you lose control for making the turns. Take this spot east so you can approach that big turn around the monument with control. You can speed up on other sections.
