Robyn and the Risky Devils are in on this drift train contest on the winding roads of El Rey. Get ready for some speed and drifting combined.
Objective: Run the synchronized drift and get at least 25,000 Drift Score to win.
There are a few turns along the first leg of this event. However, you’ll get left behind if you try to drift these wide, long turns. Instead, think of this part as a sprint and try to get out in front of the other drivers.
This is where you start drifting. Don’t worry about drifting the slight turn to the right as you enter. Just focus on hitting the longer one to the left with a high-speed drift. Then recover and pick up some speed before drifting around the turn to the right. Focus on speed for the rest of this section.
This intersection is a great place to drift again, as well as the turn that comes right after it. Then sprint to the next section. Don’t worry about drifting around every slight turn. There are plenty of big and tight turns for scoring.
Now you get to the tight turns and short speed runs. Drift only around the 180-degree turns and pick up speed between each one. Here you have to play the fine balance between racing and drifting that is the drift train.
There are some more tight turns here. After you get around the last one, you have a turn to the left before a speed run. If you’re out in front, go ahead and drift around it. Otherwise, race through it to stay with the group. Then sprint along the straightaway.
As you approach the last tight turn, there’s a slight turn to the left before you take the turn to the right. Let off the gas to take the slight turn under control, then drift around the last one. As you are exiting it, sprint the rest of the way to the finish line.
