Amy has another gymkhana for you to race. This one is all in South Port and features some crazy turns and jumps. Even though it is a race, you need something that can drift so you can score the required number of points to win—lots of them. Make every drift count.
Objective: Score more than 45,000 drift score and finish the course within 3:00.
Right at the start, drive through the gas station and speed down the straightaway so you can hit the first turn at high speed and drift around it to start off with some good points. Accelerate to the next section. Watch out for cops. There’s a police station nearby and the cops come out in force.
Here you have three turns in a row to the left, followed by a turn to the right. Don’t drift around the first one because it’s followed by a bit of turn to the right. Instead, slow down and take these under control so you have plenty of speed for the sharper turn to the left. Then build up speed to drift around the next left and then the right.
Accelerate to the next area, but that first turn to the right is tight. Slow down a bit and drift around it. Continue around the warehouses. There are several turns here where you can get some drift points. When you get to the straight section, pick up some speed so you can score big points around a couple turns to the right.
This section has some chances to pick up speed before you hit two turns to the left. Both of these are excellent for drifting, so make sure you approach them ready to drift. Once you get past them, continue to the docks.
The docks provide several good turns for drifting. Pick up speed between each one and be careful not to collide with anything or you won’t get the points. After leaving the docks, you can do some drifting as you drive under the freeway toward the last section.
Accelerate as you head into the last two turns to the right. Take them a bit wide so you don’t hit anything and use these last chances to score enough points to win. The key to this is not to rush it. Focus more on clean drifts without collisions to score the points you need.
