Paint & Wrap lets you customize the skin of your car. There are three main options here. If you’ve already saved a Paint & Wrap scheme, you can apply it from a list of saved choices. You can also edit your Paint & Wrap in two different areas. While paint is fairly obvious, wrap is the decals you place around the body of your car. The collection of decals you choose is your wrap. Once saved, you can then quickly apply it rather than having to reapply each decal again individually.
Painting your Car
There are six different characteristics you can adjust to customize your paint.
Hue: This is basically the color of your car. Move the slider along the rainbow of colors on the bar to select one you like.
Saturation: Lets you adjust how full you want the color. As you lower it, you move more toward white. For example, if you have red at high saturation, moving the slider to the left and lowering saturation will change the color to a pink.
Brightness: This is where you can determine how dark or light the color of the paint is.
Metallic: Make your finish look more or less metallic. The more metallic, the darker the color usually looks.
Smoothness: This adjusts the reflection of the paint. More smoothness provides a glossy finish, while less smoothness is more of a matte finish.
Clearcoat:This final option allows you to choose how shiny your paint job is.
Creating a Wrap
You create a wrap by placing decals on various surfaces of your vehicle. There are 12 categories of decals with several options in each:
Shapes
Complex Shapes
Characters
Logos
Colorable Logos
Logotype
Colorable Logotype
Teams
Brands
Patterns
Flags
Font The process of creating a wrap is quite easy. Select individual decals and place them in various regions around your car. Once you’re done with the paint and your wrap, save your configuration so you can quickly apply it in the future.Visual Customization
While Paint & Wrap is just the skin of your car, Visual Customization involves changing parts on the exterior of your car. Not all of the areas can be modified at the start. You must unlock some by increasing your Rep or completing events issued by Amy.Most of the Visual Customization options are only cosmetic. However, some, such as adding a spoiler, can affect the performance of your car. One of the things you can adjust in the Visual Customization screen is the stance of your car. The selector is location under the front bumper. Click on it to open a menu that allows you to adjust the following:
Ride Height—Height (low to high)
Ride Height—Rake (front to rear)
Track Width—Front (wide to narrow)
Track Width—Rear (wide to narrow)
Camber—Front (negative to neutral)
Camber—Rear (negative to neutral)
You can also make customizations to your wheels, including changing your rims, editing the primary and secondary paint of your rims, and changing the size of your rims. You can even change the brand and looks for your tires. This is entirely cosmetic. To change the type of tires, you need to purchase and install tires in the performance customization.
