Need For Speed eGuide Walkthrough Outlaw

Angels Can't Catch Devils

Now that you know the identity of the Outlaw, he and his two fellow Outlaws are challenging you to a sprint race down in South Port. You’ll be racing right past the police station, so you can definitely expect some cops here. Just keep them on your six.

Objective: Race to the finish line and be the first one across.

The race begins on the freeway, so get up to speed as quickly as you can, but slow down again as you take the off-ramp. The turns are tight and it’s easy to lose control if you go too fast. Once on the main roads, you can see the police have already set up a concrete barricade here.

Keep your speed up and powerslide through the turns while maintaining control. Race past the police station and watch for oncoming traffic. Besides cops and racers, there are also citizens driving, and you can’t afford to crash if you want to win. Follow the course around multiple turns. Navigate them as fast as you can, and don’t be afraid to go across grass or sidewalks if necessary while avoiding other vehicles.

There’s a tight turn to the right and then a short sprint. Go fast, but realize it won’t last long.

The turn to the left comes quickly, so watch for it and be ready to powerslide around it. It’s easy to miss. You can take the next few turns fairly fast. When you get to the intersection at the end of this area, powerslide around two turns in a row.

Now you have a long sprint. If you want to win, you must run this stretch as fast as you can.

The barricades are at the end of the sprint and block your way to the finish line. Take a sharp left and work your way around several turns to reach the end. This is where your cornering ability can make the difference between winning and losing.

Escape a 5-Minute Chase Driving a Car with less than 200 hp

By now your car is probably well upgraded with lots of power and speed. No wonder you can outrun cops. However, head back to the garage and either downgrade your ride or switch to another car. You need to get under 200hp, then get into a chase with the cops. You can’t outrun them this time, so use bootlegger turns and powerslides to lead them on a winding goose chase until you lose them. Sometimes parking in a corner and turning off your car is a great way to wait out a cooldown until you make your escape.
