Manu has another gymkhana to really get Ken Block’s attention this time. It combines Japhet’s Full Flick and Push Downstairs into one big run. There are lots of jumps and several areas of off-road driving.
Objective: Score more than 60,000 Drift Score and finish the course within 4:40.
Punch it right at the start to get your car up to speed along the freeway. Don’t slow down until the first turn of the on-ramp. Pick up some Drift Score on these turns and continue around to the main road. As you race across the intersection, drive a straight line at high speed to hit the ramp and jump over the container, then continue on.
Pick up some Drift Score around the warehouses, then make your away to the jump at the police station. You don’t want to miss this or you’ll have to go back around to pick up the checkpoint.
As soon as you land, drift to the left and follow the course around the Art Centre, then back around to the main roads. Don’t waste time drifting on the small turns since it’s better to take them under control. However, when you get a bit of straight road, speed up so you can take those tighter turns for more Drift Score.
There’s a long speed run, which you need to make clean to finish the race within the time limit. Remember you have to cut the turn at the end of the run early so you can hit the ramp and checkpoint under the freeway. This turn and the one after the ramp can earn some good score, as well. Continue back toward the docks and hit the very tight turn with speed so you can rack up more points.
The docks area is your last chance to get Drift Score. If you have driven a clean run so far, you should have plenty of time to make sure you get as much score as possible while drifting around the containers. Once you reach your score requirement, just get to the finish line at the exit of the docks.
