Patrek’s Name Must Be Cleared. Go To The Scene Of The Murder To Start Your Investigation.
Objective Point A
To begin this side quest, speak with Duncan Paege just outside the main door of the Common Hall in Castle Black. Patrek has been accused of a string of murders, but he says he doesn’t even know the murdered brothers very well. It’s up to you to clear his name.
Objective Point B
Head to the southwest section of Castle Black and investigate the deserted buildings. You’ll find Addam Flowers in the back of the farthest building standing over the ritual killing of your brother Myles, who accompanied you during your adventures in the tunnels of Mole’s Town. He explains that there is a lot of evidence pointing to Patrek, and you tell him that you’re going to look into matters yourself.
Pick Up The Scent Of Myles’s Body To Follow His Trail.
Objective Point C
Switch to Dog and sniff Myles’s scent. Follow it to the northwest section of Castle Black, where you meet up with two brothers talking about the murders.
Follow Myles’s Trail To Find Out What He Was Doing Before He Died.
Objective Point D
One of the brothers hanging outside the building where Myles was last seen says that he saw Patrek and Myles leave the building together. This means that Patrek was lying before when he told you that he didn’t know the murdered brothers.
Patrek Was Seen With Myles Just Before He Died. Go Ask Him About It.
Objective Point E
Return to Patrek and tell him you know he was with Myles just before he died. Patrek eventually breaks his vow of silence for his brother and admits that he promised Myles that he wouldn’t reveal the truth: Myles was going to desert the Night’s Watch because of the recent troubles, and Patrek was trying to talk him out of it.
Patrek Mentioned A Quarrel Between Wat And Myles, The Victim At Castle Black. Wat Will Probably Have More Information For You.
Objective Point F
It seems that Myles’s partner on the Wall, Wat, would know a lot about what happened to Myles. Seek him out on the bridge and ask him some questions. Wat reveals that they were both in an old patrol where horrible things happened north of the Wall. Now, years later, members of that same patrol are being murdered one by one. Unfortunately, his memory of that time is faulty, so he doesn’t have any more clues for you.
The Murders Seem To Be Linked To An Old Mission That Wat And Myles Were Part Of. Check The Patrol Records In Mormont’s Office To Find Out More.
Objective Point A
Enter the Common Hall and search the Lord Commander’s office area for papers on the old patrol that Myles and Wat were in. If you search the books, you’ll find a report on the patrol that explored the Haunted Forest. You learn that Addam Flowers led that patrol and that he was abducted by wildlings on that cursed mission.
Addam Was The Leader Of The Mission And Is The Only One Of Those Abducted By The Wildlings To Have Survived. Search His Belongings On The Ground Floor Of The Common Hall To Try And Find Out More.
Objective Point B
Head down to the ground floor and search Flowers’s locker. You find an anonymous blackmail letter that threatens to expose Flowers as a wildling spy unless he drops five golden dragons at the well in Mole’s Town.
Addam Seems To Be Deeply Involved In This Sorry Business. Find Him As Soon As Possible.
It seems as if Flowers is the true culprit in this sinister turn of events. Once he was blackmailed, he decided to track down all the old patrol members and kill them off to make sure no one discovered his secret. Return to Myles’s corpse and you discover that Flowers has left for Mole’s Town with the rest of his old patrol. You have to race to stop him from committing more atrocities.
Addam Flowers Left Castle Black For Mole’s Town With The Last Survivors Of The Patrol. You Must Find Him As Soon As Possible.
As you leave for Mole’s Town, a group of brothers intercepts you. They want to see Patrek executed for his “crimes” and don’t like you snooping around on his behalf. You can convince them to back off without a fight if you tell them that Flowers is behind it, or you can battle them in the snows of Castle Black. You need to defeat your brothers to reach the exit and head after Flowers in Mole’s Town.
Go And Find Addam Flowers In The Forest Of Mole’s Town Before He Reaches The Point Of No Return.
Objective Point A
As soon as you arrive in the forest outside of Mole’s Town, you spot Addam Flowers and his old patrol. He’s obviously out of his mind, and he kills the last of the patrol before you can reach him.
Kill The Deranged Addam Flowers.
Objective Point B
When you reach Addam Flowers, he talks about the voices in his head and says the wildlings forced him to eat his fellow brother’s heart many years ago when captured. Now the white walkers call to him and ask for more sacrifices.
To end his threat once and for all, kill the deranged Addam Flowers. Alternate stunning him between Alester and Mors, and order Dog to knock Flowers down or immobilize him to serve as a break between other abilities. If you keep him off balance, the three of you should slice, bash, and bite Flowers for enough damage to slay your lost brother.
Go And Report Back To Duncan Paege To Clear Patrek’s Name.
Return to Castle Black and let Duncan Paege know that Patrek isn’t the criminal in the whole affair. After you relate the story, Patrek is freed.
Patrek thanks you even as you remind him of his responsibility on the Wall. Even though Patrek is unsure of his feelings—his fellow brothers turned their backs on him, after all—he resolves to return to his duty as a sworn brother of the Night’s Watch.
