You Are Now A Recruiter For The Night’s Watch. Your Task While On Your Journey Is To Find As Many Men As Possible Who Are Prepared To Take The Black.
Objective Point A
Lord Commander Mormont gives you this recruiting quest when you agree to take Jeyne south from the Wall. There are three primary areas from which to recruit brothers for the Night’s Watch: Mole’s Town, Riverspring, and King’s Landing. You can recruit as Mors from now until the end of Chapter 1To show that you’re an official recruiter, the Lord Commander hands you a letter with his official seal and the Recruiter’s Cloak.
Search The Underground Tunnels Of Mole’s Town To Find Men Who Could Swell The Ranks Of The Night’s Watch.
Objective Point A
If you’re looking for recruits in Mole’s Town, begin by speaking with Willow near the entrance. She tells you that a freeloader won’t leave her room, and you can agree to speak with this Gulian about relocating to Castle Black. Also, you can speak with Andar next to the bar and discover he's a deserter from the Night's Watch. You can either kill him or force him back to his post and collect another recruit.
Objective Point B
The man is a bard of some sort. You can convince Gulian to write songs that will inspire others if he signs up for the Night’s Watch. Keep pushing him and he’ll head north and you’ll have your first recruit under your belt.
Search The Streets Of Riverspring And Find Recruits. You Could Also See The Contents Of The Stronghold’s Dungeons.
Objective Point A
When you’re ready to search for recruits after Riverspring has been freed from Valarr’s control, speak with Jon near the front gate. He informs you that many will join the Night’s Watch because of the unfortunate circumstances that have recently befallen Riverspring. Once you speak with Jon, you’ll see the NPCs you can recruit on the map.
Objective Point B
Speak with Donnor in the marketplace. He’s a swordsman who wants a challenge; if you beat him in a duel, he’ll respect your brotherhood and join the Night’s Watch.
Objective Point C
Next, seek out the villager to the west. He’s swamped in debt, and thugs are out for his pound of flesh if he can’t pay. You can try to convince him to join the Night’s Watch, but Alester will step in and insist that you deal with these thugs rather than cave in to their demands.
You’ll find the thugs just around the corner intimidating another villager. Attack the thugs and beat them to the ground. When you do, you can choose to save the leader’s life and send him to the Wall. Return to the villager. You can scare him into thinking that others will come after him soon and his best option is to the join the Night’s Watch. You just got two recruits with one visit.
Objective Point D
In the city’s southwest section, a female villager will beg you to join the Night’s Watch for the sake of adventure. You can dismiss her or give in to her wishes and send her north. The Lord Commander, however, won’t be happy with a woman recruit and denies her membership for her own protection.
Objective Point E
Waltyr, a man who has lost everything in the battle for Riverspring, stands forlornly out on the landing in front of the waterwheel. You can convince him that he can find a new family with the Night’s Watch where his life will mean something again.
Objective Point F
Don’t forget to check the Riverspring dungeon for more recruits. Those who are truly desperate may join the brotherhood rather than rot in their cells.
Search The Town Of King’s Landing And For Recruits To Send Back To The Night’s Watch. Don’t Forget To Look In The Red Keep.
Objective Point A
When you’re ready to search for recruits in King’s Landing, speak with Morros near the front gate. He recommends searching the dungeons of the Red Keep and the area around Flea Bottom.
Objective Point B
Talk to the city guard near the Red Keep entrance if you want to enter the dungeons. He guides you inside where you can speak with the Gold Cloak jailkeeper.
The jailkeeper asks you for a bribe to hand over four prisoners for the Night’s Watch. You can pay him and the recruits are yours, or you can threaten him to let them out. Threaten him once and he’ll drop the price slightly; threaten him a second time and he opens the prison cells and makes you fight the prisoners.
Objective Point C
A mob has gathered around two psychopaths who are involved in some grisly murders. You can tell the angry mob that the Night’s Watch is a dreadful place and they’ll eventually let you take the two killers for the Wall. If you don’t convince the mob that the Night’s Watch is a fate worse than death, they will attack the two killers and you have a big battle on your hands. After the battle, you can take the killers (if they survived) as new recruits for the Night’s Watch.
Your Recruitment Is Now Over. Go Back To Castle Black And Give A Report To The Lord Commander.
Upon completion of your recruitment, return to the Lord Commander and give your final report. He will reward you for a job well done as the new recruits are hardened into your future Night’s Watch brothers.
