Game of Thrones eGuide Walkthrough Chapter 6: The Crown’s Dogs

Chapter 6: The Crown’s Dogs - King’s Landing

King’s Landing

Head With Valarr To The King’s Landing Marketplace

Objective Point A

Your search for the Mother Hen begins outside the Red Keep in King’s Landing. Valarr’s spies have a lead on the Hen’s location; meet up with Valarr’s personal guards, the Bloodseekers, in the marketplace to follow up on that lead.

Kill Master Jaremy’s Potters Or Question Master Jaremy About Harry

Objective Point B

You’ll find Valarr’s Bloodseekers on the edge of the marketplace next to the gate into the potter shop. They’ve tracked a young boy named Harry Waters here; the Hen’s men seem to have taken a keen interest in guarding Harry. When Valarr orders his men to kill the potter apprentices in the yard, you can choose to go along with the violence or intervene to stop the massacre.

If you choose to kill the apprentices, they attack as soon as you enter the yard. It’s a big group, so don’t try to do everything yourself; you have Valarr’s big sword and the rest of his team to help you out. Regardless of your main stance, stay back and look for targets of opportunity to quickly slay the wounded.

If you choose to intervene, you’ll have a chance to talk with Old Jaremy, the master potter, and avoid a fight with the apprentices. At the end of the conversation with Old Jaremy or your battle with the apprentices, the Hen’s guards interrupt your search for Harry and attack. As with the first battle, stay out of the heart of the conflict and pick off wounded enemies or those who charge after you.

Get Harry To Find Out Where The Mother Hen Is Hiding OR Return To Master Jaremy’s Workshop To Interrogate The Wounded

Whatever your choices at the potter shop, the final result is the same—Harry makes a run for it at the end of the conflict. As he bolts from the shop and heads back into the marketplace, run after him. If you lose sight of him for even an instant, the chase ends and you lose him. No matter the obstacles—thrown barrels, crowds in the way, the twists and turns of the King’s Landing streets—keep on his tail if you want to learn the secret of the Hen House’s location.

Objective Point C

Keep on Harry’s heels as best as you can. When he cuts around the marketplace carts, dodge the first set of barrels he throws in your way. Stay on his tail, but when he knocks down the second set of barrels, cut off to your left around the carts and catch up with him again as he turns left down the side street.

Objective Point D

Follow Harry up the steps and dodge the crowd of people in your way. You’ll chase Harry through the upper levels of King’s Landing and down toward the Flea Bottom District. Crowds will constantly get in your way. Watch carefully how Harry moves through the crowd, and take the same path. If you bump into a person and stop, you lose Harry.

Objective Point E

Just when you think you’ve got Harry, he ducks behind a locked gate and seems lost. He’s not! Continue running around the building and you’ll catch up to him on the far side as the streets continue into the seedier part of town.

Objective Point F

If you’ve managed to stay on Harry the whole time, he leads you to the Hen House in Flea Bottom. The Hen’s guards at the door immediately attack you. Valarr’s Massacre attack comes in handy if you fight in the close quarters of the alley, and a stun effect like Paralyzing Powder can lock down the whole enemy group while you pound on them.
