Riverspring Courtyard
When You Are Ready To Take Vengeance On Valarr, Return To Your Chambers In Riverspring Castle.
Objective Point A
It goes from bad to worse when you return to Riverspring. You receive news that the king is dead, and the streets of King’s Landing have erupted in violence as the Lannisters set upon members of House Stark.
You agree, though, that you must hunt down Valarr in King’s Landing. You give the child to Maester Harwyn temporarily; he will meet you in King’s Landing after you’ve made the dangerous journey and all seems safe.
Side Quest: Not So Wild
After you speak to Harwyn in the Riverspring Courtyard, a raven arrives for you from Castle Black. Qhorin Halfhand needs your help back at the Wall to help track down some wildlings who are holed up in Mole’s Town. For more details on the mission against the wildlings and completing the quest, see the “Side Quests” chapter.
Side Quest: Rituals and Litanies
If you return to Castle Black to follow up on the “Not So Wild” side quest, you can also discover this second side quest in your old home. Patrek has been accused of murdering some brothers of the Night’s Watch, and it’s up to Mors to clear his friend’s name. For more details on saving Patrek and completing the quest, see the “Side Quests” chapter.
Objective Point B
Enter the castle and find your room. Inside, Alester and Mors each make a case for why vengeance should be carried out on Valarr.
When you are ready for the final end to the story, and you’ve made all your preparations for the difficult journey ahead, choose either Mors’s destiny or Alester’s destiny to continue. Once you select your character, you cannot go back. You will then play that character to the end and make the choices that will ultimately shape his final destiny.
