Far Cry Primal eGuide Takkar's Journey Main Missions Wogah the Crafter

Trapped

Trapped

Prerequisite: Complete Attack of the Udam

Main Objective: Escape the Cave

Difficulty: Easy

Awards: 500 XP

Special: Grappling Claw

Enemies: Jaguars

Overview

Once the Udam attack has been thwarted, new specialists appear on the map. Find and bring them back to the village to gain new skills and upgrades. Wogah the Crafter is found in a cave near the Shelter of the Lost. Climb the vines just to the east of this location and follow the wood path back west to find the cave. Enter to begin the Trapped mission.

Strategy

Wogah thinks he has caught another Udam and does not believe you are Wenja. You must find a way out of the cave to convince him otherwise.

Light your torch and set the debris on fire to reveal a hole. Drop down to the lower level.

Head northwest to find a Leopard, tending to another Leopard carcass, and (if you have the skill) tame it with a piece of bait. Walk over to the body and pick up the grappling claw stuck in its side. This is an extremely useful tool as it allows for climbing and swinging to new heights.

Return to the first cavern and spot a grappling point to the right. Use the claw to reach the ledge above and move to the end of the corridor.

Turn left and use the grappling claw to swing across the gap. Another grapple point allows you to descend into a big cavern below.

Four Jaguars attack as soon as you get within range, so be ready to keep them away with your torch. Climb out of the pit to the west and use the grappling claw on a point high up the right wall.

Continue up the wall ahead by ascending toward the first grapple point and switching to the next one when possible. You find an exit just ahead.
