Use the grappling point to the south of the bonfire. Climbing from the grapple point places you right next to the bonfire, lining you up for a clear shot on the caged animal.
Use your bow and arrow to shoot the cage open. Simply shooting the front of the cage breaks the door open, freeing the Cave Lion. As long as there is an enemy nearby, the lion begins to attack them.
Once the Cave Lion starts attacking the Izila, use the confusion to quickly kill the Elite Slinger. The freed Cave Lion should have killed at least one enemy by now, use your Hunter Vision to detect the remaining enemies.
Use arrows from behind the bonfire to kill off the two Spearman and the Elite Chieftain. If you get overrun, run down the path and use the grappling spot to pull yourself back up to the bonfire, then begin your attack again from behind them.
