After accepting the mission, light one of your weapons on fire and head east, where you find a hunter at the beginning of the hunting area.
On the south side of the rock they are standing in front of, there are two Cave Lions. Pull out your spear and activate your Hunter Vision to locate them.
Get in close enough to land a Spear on one of them, if you have upgraded your spear and land a headshot, this could be the end for the Cave Lion. The other Cave Lion flees in a random direction; follow it and take it down with your spear.
Now with almost half the Lions eliminated, head down to the north side of the small pond’s edge and throw some bait. This attracts the Rare Black Lion, you can chose to tame or kill it. Either option takes it off your amount of Cave Lions left to kill. Across the water from you there is a lone Cave Lion. This Lion may be a bit tough to hit with a spear so use your bow to land a headshot and then Hunter Vision to follow its tracks and finish it off.
A small cave in the back of the pond houses the last two Cave Lions, throw some bait to draw them out.
Ideally one of the Cave Lions will come out; attack it with a spear. If it runs, do not cross the mouth of the cave, instead prepare another spear and take on the Cave Lion still residing in the Cave.
This will leave it pinned in the cave for a follow up attack. Once the Lion is dead, hunt down the last injured Cave Lion to collect your reward.
