Resources are scattered around Oros and vary depending on the region you are in. To collect a resource, get in close then press and hold Square/X to collect it.
Different skills in the gatherer skill tree can increase your yields when collecting resources around Oros.

Reward Stash
As you progress in the game and liberate Outposts from enemy control, rewards go to you Rewards Stash. You can access your Reward Stash at any Outpost or Bonfire, as well as your Village.
You receive rewards to your Stash every morning in game. The amount and type of rewards improves by upgrading the different huts in your village.
Reward Stashes can also be found at campfires, so stock up! Resources in the Stash do not count as being in your inventory, so you need to withdraw them for crafting or village upgrades.
