Kwacha Stone Outpost

Difficulty: Very Hard

Tribe: Izila

Awards: 500 XP, Population, Village Resources

Special: 1750 XP for Stealth, Fast Travel, Stash

Stationary Alarm: 3

Enemies: 3 Warriors, 4 Elite Slingers, 1 Elite Archer, 1 Archer, 1 Spearman, 1 Elite Chieftain

Wave Reinforcement: 2 Archers, 2 Warriors

At first glance, this outpost looks incredibly challenging with seven potential opportunities for reinforcements to be called. Don’t let the reinforcements scare you as they are relatively weak compared to the other Very Hard rated outposts.

First things first, keep your distance, and move your way around the perimeter of the camp. Use your bow to take out the three Stationary Alarms through the openings. With those alarms down, now focus on releasing the four caged animals using the same method.

Stay Down

Be sure to stay crouched as you move around the camp. Sprinting or standing makes you stand out to the four Elite Slingers watching over the outpost.

Once you’ve freed the animals, move in from the west side of the base. With your spears equipped, begin to slowly move into the camp looking for the four Elite Slingers if the animals haven’t already killed them. Use your spears to quickly kill off the Elite Slingers, be sure to stay concealed as you move through the camp as a few enemies may have stayed away from the animals.

Slowly work your way in a circle, staying inside the camp, and use your beast to pick off enemies without revealing yourself. If you aren’t sure of the enemy’s location, discretely retreat from the camp and call in your Owl to get a bird’s eye view of the area. With that knowledge you can choose a new entry point to give you the upper hand on any remaining enemies.

More likely than not, the only remaining enemy after the caged animals are released is the Elite Chieftain. The easiest way to take him down is using the Upgraded Takedown ability from your Owl while you search the camp for enemies.

Once you’ve killed all of the enemies, the camp is yours!
