Main Objective: Track the Wenja taken by the Izila tribe and free them

Overview

The Izila tribe have taken Wenja and locked them up to the far east. There is still time to free them from their cages before they are used as tools by the sun walkers.

Strategy

Head east to the quest marker and accept the mission. Use Hunter Vision to follow the blood trail southeast toward the water. Follow the stream east through Mash Baya Rocks, investigating clues along the way. As you reach a bridge above, a scene plays out between the Izila and a couple of their hostages. Continue swimming, diving into a tunnel when you reach the waterfall. This leads into the Izila camp where they hold the hostages. Izila Slingers man watchtowers around the outside, while Izila Spearmen and Izila Warriors patrol the area.

Water tunnels wrap around the east side, leading all the way to the south end. Grappling points on the southeast and east allow for easy access to a couple of the Izila Slingers. Continuing in the water to the south, find a secret passage that leads north into the central pit. If you are detected inside, enemies pour into the hole, so be ready for a fight or flee back into the water. Stealth is an option for a while, but with the four watchtowers, it doesn’t take long before you are detected.

Five Wenja hostages are being held on the west side. On the south side, look for the secret passage that leads right to them. Bust open their cages and untie them to set them free; with enemies present, they help in the fight. Once you have taken care of the Izila, ignite your weapons and set the place ablaze. The four platforms, cages, and wood spikes above the pit can be set on fire. The meter on the top of the HUD fills as it burns. More Izila fighters enter the area across the north bridge, so be on the lookout. Once the meter fills all the way, exit the camp After the scene, you must find a way out of the pit. Search for the underwater tunnel and swim to safety outside of the camp. After you escape the area, the mission completes and you return to the village.
