Bone Dust

Prerequisite: Complete Vision of Ice and Build Dah’s hut

Main Objective: Find bone dust to help treat Dah’s skull fire fevers

Overview

After building Dah’s hut, step inside and talk to him. He wants you to grab bone dust from an Udam camp. This is the fix he needs for his fever.

Strategy

Head up to the north wastes and locate the quest marker, just south of the Big Darwa Fort. Approach Stone Mother Camp to begin the mission. The Udam are located in the valley below. Call your Owl to survey the area, being sure to tag the Udam healer near the southwest road. Now you just need to watch where she goes to find the bone dust, which is inside one of three huts around the camp.

You can stealthily sneak into the hut and swipe the dust or kill the Udam and grab it with ease. Starting from a high ledge, take out the Udam Slinger who overlooks the camp. Be sure to keep an eye on your cold meter. Fires can be found throughout the camp. An alarm sits on the south end, so destroy it with a fire arrow. Sic your beast and Owl on enemies below and finish them off with your bow. Descend to the ground and collect the bone dust. If you did not find out the correct location, simply search every pot in the three huts. Escape outside the zone to complete the mission. Talk to Dah to hand over the bone dust.
