Primitive Takedowns

Approach an enemy from behind or by cover. Press the Takedown button for a quick and silent kill. Hold the Left Stick to drag the body out of sight. This is the basic stealth takedown, performed on an unsuspecting victim.

Primitive Heal I

Skill Requirement: -

Cost: 1 Skill Point

Hold the Heal button to manually heal one health bar. More healing options are in the Food menu (Left on the D-Pad), which is a great option since it does not require any ingredients.

Extra Health II

Unlocked for Purchase: Build Takkar’s Cave

Skill Requirement: Primtive Heal I

Cost: 2 Skill Points

Gain +1 health bars. You can have up to six in total. The more health you have, the more likely you are to survive.

Primitive Heal II

Skill Requirement: Extra Health II

Cost: 3 Skill Points

Heals +1 health bars when manually healing, up to three total.

Hunter Vision

Unlocked for Purchase: Already Learned

Hold the Takedown button for enhanced vision. View enemies, animals, resources, and blood trails. Lasts eight seconds. Extends to your Owl companion.

Primitive Agility

Press the Sprint button to sprint, then the Crouch button to slide. Hold the Throw Throwable button to keep any throwable weapon in your hand, and release to throw it.

Extra Health IV

Unlocked for Purchase: Build Takkar’s Cave

Skill Requirement: Primitive Heal II

Cost: 6 Skill Points

Gain +1 health bars. You can have up to six in total.

Sprint Heal

Unlocked for Purchase: Reach Oros

Skill Requirement: -

Cost: 1 Skill Point

Hold the Heal button to heal yourself while sprinting with the Sprint button. Uses the default recipe from the Food menu (Left on D-Pad). Now you can heal as you flee trouble.

Crouch Sprint

Unlocked for Purchase: Build Takkar’s Cave

Skill Requirement: Sprint Heal

Cost: 2 Skill Points

Move faster when crouched with the Crouch button. This is a great skill for stealth players.

Sprint Forever

Unlocked for Purchase: Build Takkar’s Cave

Skill Requirement: Crouch Sprint

Cost: 3 Skill Points

Sprint forever without slowing down after running with the Sprint button. Sprint speed is permanently increased.

Primitive Stealth

Press Down on the D-Pad to throw a rock (on land) and distract enemies. Hold the Takedown button to move a dead body out of sight.

Primitive Fire

Unlocked for Purchase: Already Learned

Use Hardwood to light campfires. Set your weapons on fire from the Weapon Wheel by highlighting them and pressing the Interact button. This process uses an Animal Fat.

Health Regeneration

Unlocked for Purchase: Build Takkar’s Cave

Skill Requirement: Extra Health I

Cost: 3 Skill Points

Partially drained health bars automatically regenerate much faster.

Quiet Sprint

Unlocked for Purchase: Build Takkar’s Cave

Skill Requirement: Health Regeneration

Cost: 4 Skill Points

Greatly reduce the noise you make when walking and sprinting. This is a great help in stealth situations, getting you to unsuspecting foes quicker.
