Main Objective: Save a Mammoth, mount the beast, and trample the Udam Hunters

Overview

Build Karoosh’s hut once the resources are available and talk to him inside. He warns of Udam who hunt the Mammoth in the far north and use the bones for their bone trees. Turn the animal against the Udam by mounting it and trampling the Hunters.

Strategy

After accepting the mission at the marker, head northwest to find a captured Mammoth surrounded by Udam. Move up the right rock and perform a takedown on the first Slinger, followed by an arrow to the head of the second. Sprint over to the Mammoth and mount it. Take off to the north and charge through the bone tree. There are three ways to attack with the beast.

Mammoth Actions

Take the Mammoth west and demolish any bone structure you see. The shaded areas on the mini-map represent where they are found. Udam continually attack throughout the quest. Kill them as you move between the bone trees. Once the yellow bar at the top of the HUD fills, ride the Mammoth to its herd to the west and dismount.
