The Badger, found between the western and southern forests of Oros, is extremely handy as a companion. It is not very fast and is only moderately strong, but its ability to ward off wildlife is huge when hunting. It goes down fairly quickly, but it does revive itself once. The Badger is immune to poison.

My favorite beast companion is the Honey Badger; he is the most vicious animal. It’s very funny that one of the smallest animals in the food chain survived among bigger beasts. Each player should try to pet one a few times. — Fabien Govini, Level Design Director |
Cave Bear

Passive Ability 1: Draws enemy attacks in battle.
Cave Bears are mostly found to the north, but do make appearances elsewhere. It is the strongest of the regular beasts and surprisingly quick. This beast is great against higher-health enemies, but do not plan to go undetected with it by your side. Its ability to draw an enemy’s attacks and high health make it a great tank.
