Throwables

Throwables are located at the bottom of your weapon wheel. You can quickly use them by holding R1/RB to aim, then releasing R1/RB to throw the weapon. Different throwables can be unlocked in the Skills Menu. For a full breakdown on all throwables, check out the Gear chapter.

Stone Shard

Stone Shards are thrown to damage enemies; headshots are lethal. Stone Shards can be upgraded to shatter Elite enemy’s masks. Stone Shards can even be used during Takedowns if you have the appropriate Skills.

Poison Shard

Throw Poison Shards at human enemies to drive them berserk, making them attack others.

Fire Bomb

Fire Bombs shatter on impact, igniting enemies and animals.

Sting Bomb

Sting Bombs are bags filled with angry bees. Throw them at your enemies and run.

Berserk Bomb

Throw Berserk Bombs at human enemies to drive them berserk, making them attack others.

Rocks and the Sling

Before you learn about the Sling, pressing D-Pad Down lets Takkar throw a rock. This helps distract enemies and singles them out for attack.

Once you have learned the Sling, holding D-Pad Down causes Takkar to start swinging the loaded Sling above his head. Rocks thrown from the Sling go much further and can be lethal if you hit an enemy in the head.

Bait

Throw Bait to attract nearby animals. Some beasts attracted by bait can be tamed.

Trap

Place these concealed Traps to surprise enemies and keep predators at bay.
