The Triforce: the ultimate power, comprised of power, wisdom, and courage. Around that power, the battle between good and evil wages over and over again, without end.
Whenever the Triforce falls into the hands of evil, a hero in a green tunic always appears to fight the demons and restore peace to Hyrule Kingdom.
When an agent of evil is vanquished, its spirit is broken into four fragments and each fragment is sealed separately to keep it from ever rising again.
Three of the fragments are spread across space and time. The fourth is sealed by a sword, placed in a temple, built on holy land.
Once such evil soul was sealed a long, long time ago. It stayed sealed, until one day, a sorceress began to undo these shackles.
Deep in a forest, far away from the village, the sorceress Cia protected the balance of the Triforce.
The sorceress Cia used special magic to look across all dimensions and across all time periods, past, present, and future to guard the Triforce from evil in every era.
She guarded the Triforce well. That is, until the day she came to notice a certain soul.
They shined like no other, this soul and its owner. They crossed through time to fight demons and
protect Hyrule from evil; the people called him “hero.”
The Sorceress longed for this hero. But no matter the time period, at this hero’s side there was always a beautiful princess.
The seeds of envy took root in the Sorceress, and something began to whisper softly to her. It was the soul fragment, sealed away by the last hero; a small thought, left behind by the last villain.
“If you’d like to get the hero, then help me…” the villain’s voice whispered. Torn by her desire for the hero’s hand and her duty to guard the Triforce, the sorceress’ heart was torn in two and her purity left her, leaving only half of her heart behind.
The villain has one goal: to revive itself using the power of the Triforce, and take over Hyrule as their own.
Without her purity of heart to guide her, the sorceress was easily manipulated by the villainous soul. She used her power, the “Gate of Souls,” to open a path to the dark world.
From this gate, demons and monsters from across time were summoned, and Hyrule Kingdom is under siege once again…
