Storming the Castle
Having recruited Wizzro and Volga to command her vast armies, Cia begins an all-out assault on Hyrule Castle. Use Wizzro to capture the Rockface W. Keep and Volga to capture the Field East Keep, thereby opening their southern doors and gaining access to the southern lands.
Capture the Rockface W. Keep and Field East Keep quickly for a chance at intercepting three Goron Captains that soon appear to the east and race toward Hyrule Castle. If any of the Goron Captains make it to the castle, the Hyruleans are alerted to your presence and muster additional forces. It’s not terrible if the Goron Captains slip by, but try to stop them if you can.
The heroic sorceress Lana also takes to the field shortly after the Goron Captains appear. Rather than racing for Hyrule Castle, Lana goes on the offensive and storms northward to reclaim the Field East Keep. Come to the Keep’s defense and defeat Lana after you’ve hunted down every last Goron Captain.
They Hyruleans Strike Back
Lana retreats after falling in battle, and Princess Zelda orders her troops to advance on the Allied Base. Command Wizzro to defend the Allied Base, using him to intercept the Hyrulean army as they draw near. At the same time, send Volga to capture the southeast Fairy Fountain, dispatching the Guard Troop stationed there.
Piece of Heart Opportunity Volga can claim a Piece of Heart during this Scenario; it’s hidden within the Fairy Fountain. Capture the Fairy Fountain to cause the Piece of Heart’s treasure chest to appear. |
Heart Container Opportunity If you’re quick, you can send Wizzro down south to bomb the boulder to the east of Hyrule Castle and discover a treasure chest with a Heart Container. Quickly collect this precious prize and then race back to the Allied Base to defend it from the advancing Hyruleans. |
Pressing the Attack
Use Volga to capture additional Keeps after you’ve secured the Fairy Fountain, starting with those closest to the Allied Base, including the Central Keep. Switch to Wizzro whenever you need to defend the Allied Base or assist Cia, but otherwise, use Volga to steadily secure one Keep after the next.
Beware that the great Warrior Impa will soon advance from Hyrule Castle, heading north to confront Cia on her way to the Allied base. In addition, dangerous Assault Troops also march forth from the castle, but some of them cut through the Field West Keep, taking a more direct route to your base. Drop everything and intercept Impa and the Assault Troops before they reach the Allied Base—you can’t allow it to fall!
Defeat Princess Zelda
Impa’s defeat entices Princess Zelda to take action. Zelda marches onto the field and rallies her troops, bolstering their morale. Eager for revenge, the Hyrulean army advances on your base once more, but Zelda remains in the castle courtyard. Continue to leave one character to defend your base while sending the other to confront Princess Zelda. Defeat Zelda to secure your victory!
Hard Gold Skulltula OpportunityImpa returns to the field once you draw close to Zelda. If you’re after the Hard Gold Skulltula, you must defeat Impa for a second time before you defeat Zelda. After you’ve defeated Impa again—and assuming that the Allied Base has never fallen into danger—the Hard Gold Skulltula appears just south of the Fairy Fountain. Break off your attack for a moment and collect your reward. |
