Dark Double
Having driven off the monstrous Helmaroc King, Link, Lana, and Tetra now seek to track down the cause of these recent evil happenings. Nearing the source of all this darkness, Lana began to strongly sense Cia’s presence—but as the trio arrived at their destination, Lana came to realize that it was not the real Cia, but a dark, twisted version of her other half. King Daphnes, ruler of the lands that Tetra calls home, joins the three heroes in their effort to defeat this dark, powerful evil.
You need all the help you can get to drive back Dark Cia and her army of monsters. Fortunately, a pair of messengers set off to call for aid. Defeat nearby enemy Captains and ensure that both messengers find their way to the East and West Gardens. Success causes reinforcements to appear on the field.
Dark Cia awaits you up north—hurry up there and challenge her. Her Keeps remain closed for the moment, but she regularly summons reinforcements into them, steadily growing her army. The longer it takes you to challenge Dark Cia, the more enemies you must contend with when her Keeps open. Battle against Dark Cia until she flees the scene.
Nice to Cia
By driving off Dark Cia, you’ve rescued the real Cia from the darkness that had enveloped her. Cia suddenly appears nearby, but she’s badly weakened from her ordeal. The Keep that Dark Cia had been using becomes the Allied Base, and you’re tasked with protecting Cia for the duration of this Scenario. Some of Dark Cia’s Keeps open at this point, sending Dark Forces after Cia.
Defeat all of the Dark Forces that march forth from Dark Cia’s Keeps, then work at capturing those Keeps, starting with the ones closest to your Allied Base. Cia’s defense is your top priority, but each Keep that you capture reduces the number of enemy reinforcements. Strike a balance between base defense and Keep capturing, making good use of the Command screen to direct your forces accordingly. Look to grab goodies when you can, as well.
Hard Gold Skulltula OpportunityYou must play as Link and arm him with the Hylian Sword in order to score this Hard Gold Skulltula. Capture every Keep on the map in under 10 minutes, and the Hard Gold Skulltula appears near the map’s center. Snatch it before it skitters away! |
Piece of Heart Opportunity The West Magic Keep holds a Piece of Heart for King Daphnes. Capture the Keep and crack open the chest that appears to claim this royal reward. |
Heart Container Opportunity As Tetra, bomb the boulder that lies just north of the East Magic Keep to uncover a treasure chest. Open it to claim a Heart Container for the mighty pirate girl. |
Gold Skulltula Opportunity Rack up 1,000 KOs to make a Gold Skulltula materialize just northeast of the Allied Base. It’s an easy grab for your base defender, but don’t leave Cia unguarded for long! |
Tide of Darkness
Even after you’ve captured every Keep, enemy reinforcements continue to appear all around the battlefield. Continue to protect Cia from the Dark Forces, prioritizing troublesome foes such as Skilled Summoners and Rally Captains. Hosts of Icy Big Poes also appear; repel them, as well, ensuring Cia’s safety all the while.
After much hard fighting, Dark Cia eventually reappears to the south—and she’s not alone. Two formidable Dark Links also materialize, and before long, all three begin to advance on the Allied Base. Leave one capable character to defend Cia and the Allied Base while sending your other three Warriors to intercept the Dark Links and Dark Cia. Defeat all three of these sinister apparitions to save Cia’s soul!
