Most multiplayer maps and game modes cycle the weapon pickups between two weapon sets. For example, in the first match, you might have access to a Mortar, a Torque Bow, and Incendiary Grenades. In the second match on the same map, those three weapons might be replaced by a Mulcher, a Digger, and Frag Grenades. In subsequent matches, the weapon cycles simply repeat, toggling back and forth between the first and second weapon sets.
On the MP maps contained in this guide, we represent cycling weapon pickups with two weapons next to each other separated by a double-sided arrow (
). The weapon shown to the left of the double-sided arrow appears during the first match. Unsurprisingly, the weapon shown to the right of the double-sided arrow appears in that same location during the second match. And again, the cycles just repeat back and forth during subsequent matches.
Anytime you deal with cycling weapons be sure to prioritize the most dangerous weapons for a given map and game mode.
