The wetlands are full of powerful hellions, including two optional bosses. The Malevolent Crucible here is quite challenging, so it’s recommended that if you intend to clear it, you do so as the final task in this area. By then, your party should be powerful enough to handle it.
Head all the way down to the southern portion of the map and loop around to pass through Abandoned Rodine in order to reach the Arctus Ruins on the western side of the map. As with the Horsa battle, make sure you are prepared to deal with petrification attacks if you decide to challenge Euryale in Abandoned Rodine. This is also part of "The Forton Sisters" Sub-Event.
The second optional boss, Legendary Wyvern, is not available until later in the game. Refer to the "Zaveid" Sub-Event in the Optional Content section for more information.
