Starting A Game

When you click on New Game, the first thing you’ll be shown is the Options menu. At any point you can reset the options to their original configuration with , and when you’re done press OPTIONS to begin the game.

Battle Difficulty

You can find a more detailed description of these difficulties in the battle section under "Difficulty Settings."

  • Simple: A fun and easy difficulty level for those not used to action battles.
  • Normal: The basic difficulty level.
  • Moderate: Recommended if you’re used to action battles. Quality of dropped items increases slightly.
  • Hard: For players who want a challenge in battle. Receive less experience but more gald.
Action Input Time

Changes the amount of time available to input normal and arte attack commands during combos.

Subtitles

Toggle subtitles on or off in voiced events
Menu Shortcut

Specify the menu to open with R2 while in the field
Navigation Map Display

Set whether the mini-map in the upper-left has fixed orientation or rotates with the camera

  • Rotating

Map Camera Rotation Speed

You can change the turning speed of the camera that is controlled with Right Stick while moving. The more ’s there are, the faster it will move.
Map Camera X-Axis

You can change the direction of the camera that is controlled by moving left or right with Right Stick while moving.

  • Normal
  • Inverted
Map Camera Y-Axis

You can change the direction of the camera that is controlled by moving up or down with Right Stick while moving.

  • Normal
  • Inverted
Map Camera Auto-Adjust

Select whether you want the camera to rotate automatically in the direction the controlled character is facing.
Controller Vibration

Enable or disable the vibration function of your wireless controller.
Battle Controls Configuration

Change the button configuration in battles. Press to open the configuration screen.

Specify all four player controls individually.

Adjust background music volume throughout the game. The more ’s, the louder. Groovetastic.
SE Volume

Adjust sound effects volume throughout the game. The more ’s, the louder. Make the neighbors resent you.
Voice Volume

Adjust voice track volume throughout the game. The more ’s, the louder. Catch every dramatic nuance.
Movie Volume

Adjust the volume of movie playback. The more ’s, the louder. Epic.
