Explore the vast meadow for chests, Discovery Points, and all sorts of new foes—including a new optional Boss Hellion. As you move farther into the meadow, the weather turns rainy and gloomy.
At the center of the area is the first of several Malevolent Crucibles that you will encounter. This one is Malevolent Crucible: Sanjiva. You can challenge it now, or wait until later. For more details about Malevolent Crucibles, please refer to the Optional Content section of the guide.
For now, head north to Malory, the Patinal Forest. Be sure to check to the right of the entrance for the normin Primor.
Rose and Eguille take off to check out the area, leaving Sorey free to chat up the rest of the guild. Once you speak to everyone in the clearing, the Ayn twins arrive with their new creation, the Mabo Curry Bun. Rose and Eguille return as well, deciding that Malory is not a suitable location for their new hideout. The guild members discuss Scattered Bones business, investigating an organization that appears to be scamming families. Tasks assigned, the guild members leave—Rose acquires the costume "Scattered Bones Boss," as well as the title "Unfruitful Blossom."
You can explore the area, but you won’t be able to get through all of it without Edna’s Map Action, so it’s recommended that you wait and return later. When you have the necessary map actions, you can fight the optional boss King Peacock, who is necessary to defeat in the "Alisha, the Princess" Sub-Event. For now, return to the Meadow of Triumph and head to Pearloats Pasture on the Western side of the area.
