After speaking with Alisha at Griflet Bridge and learning about the secret ruins in Lakehaven Heights, head to Rayfalke Spiritcrest. If you attempt to battle Eizen at the top of the mountain, Edna will angrily leave the party and only rejoin after you have escaped from battle. At this point in the game, Eizen is impossible to defeat, so if you really want to complete this portion of the sub-event, just choose to escape as soon as the battle begins.
After defeating Tiamat, rest at any inn and Sorey will gain the resolve needed to defeat Eizen. Head back to Rayfalke Spiritcrest, and Edna and Zaveid will leave the party halfway up the mountain once they realize what they’re there to do. Edna will cry and catch up later, while Zaveid goes on ahead of the party to the summit. Once you reach the top, Edna and Zaveid will rejoin the party, and it is now possible to defeat Eizen. Defeating him gives you the Ancient Orb: Kun and Edna will gain a new title. At the top of the mountain, the discovery point Grave Atop the Mountain is now accessible. Check it out before heading down the mountain. Edna thanks Sorey and the rest of the party on the way down, and you gain the attachment Pet Dragon. Rest at any inn to view a skit about Eizen, and then return to the grave at the top of Rayfalke Spiritcrest and check it again. Edna's title rises once more and she gains the mystic arte Shooting Stars.
