This should be a short battle, and once you deplete his health he will flee. While following him, make sure to stop at the encampment to your left as there is a treasure chest containing a Panacea Bottle. You may fight the creatures nearby if you wish, or continue trailing the extremist.
Along the way is a Dark Turtlez Emporium merchant with quite a few items. Upgrade your equipment if necessary and continue on, opening the treasure chest to the left of the path containing a Drop Bottle. The group spies the extremist entering the cave that leads to the village of Camlann near the northern portion of the map.
The foursome is worried about using the path Edna securely sealed off after the battle with Heldalf. Before entering the cave, activate the save point and grab the Red Verbena to the right of the cave entrance as well as the Melon Gel in the treasure chest up the hill to the south of the entrance. The path to the south leads to the Falkewin Hillside if you would like to travel back to Marlind first.
