Activate the save point and grab the Red Saffron near the western cliff before proceeding to your right and climbing the vines. Continue north, jump down the cliff, and open the treasure chest containing 20,000 gald. Finally, climb the vines to your right and proceed to the checkpoint.

Alisha finally learns about the events leading up to the final battle. After a fair bit of exposition, most of which is skipped for comedic effect, the group continues on towards the cave.

The dead end to your right leads to a treasure chest containing a Drop Bottle, and there is a treasure chest containing an Elixir towards the dead end south of the cave exit. Fight the enemies here if you wish, or bypass them and head to the exit.

Once you leave the cave, head south and jump down the cliff near the vines. There is a treasure chest containing an Arcane Bottle near the base. Continue south via the vines and activate the save point on your right; this is a good time to set new Boons, change your Normin, and offer items if you wish, and there is a treasure chest near the save point containing Grounded Shoes. Grab these and check your equipment. You can challenge the giant dark structure, the Malevolent Crucible: Naraka if you wish. It’s not required, so you can ignore it if you would rather just continue through the story.

Only Rose and Alisha may enter and the battle begins as soon as you enter, so make sure you set your Strategy accordingly before entering, along with your Battle Actions, Artes, etc. You will have to fight through multiple waves of enemies, so make sure you stock up on healing items beforehand (remember, you can always use the save point warping action to travel to an area with a merchant if there isn’t one nearby).

After defeating the hellion waves, a Kylvern will appear. The key to this battle is using a combination of stuns and dodges. Kylvern uses powerful beam attacks that can be evaded with proper timing. Sneak up behind it to attack without giving the hellion a chance to defend. Since Kylvern primarily uses hidden artes, and both Alisha and Rose lack seraphic artes, your best bet is to use powerful hidden artes of your own to overpower Kylvern's attacks. The hellion’s Shadow Eye arte can also be devastating if you get caught in it, so when it begins to charge, get out of range quickly if you can't overpower the attack.

After defeating the Kylvern, Rose and Alisha will return to the entrance of the Malevolent Crucible. In addition to the loot drops from the battle, you also get the Women's Armor "Gladiator" for clearing the crucible. You can challenge it multiple times to earn more items and experience points if you wish.

Jump down the cliff and climb the vines to your right. Collect the treasure chest containing a Drop Bottle near the southern cliff and head towards the Elaine Ruins, activating the save point near the entrance.

The party suspects that they are being watched. Alisha deduces that the presence has entered the ruins ahead of them. Rose confidently proposes the group follow suit, promising that she is leading them to Sorey. Make sure you heal your party and purchase any needed items from the Dark Turtlez Emporium before continuing.
