Lailah excels at casting wide-area attacks that damage multiple targets and inflict status ailments—particularly Burn. Equip her with stacked Sheeld skills when possible, allowing her to cast seraphic artes uninterrupted even when under direct attack by enemies. Then, stay out of the line of enemy fire as much as possible, and use ranged attacks such as Photon Burst and Spirit Cage. When enemies get too close, Blitz Bomb and Flare Vortex will punish nearby foes, provided Lailah’s casting isn’t interrupted.
When faced with slower enemies that are easy to evade, or enemies that simply will not allow uninterrupted casting, Lailah’s martial artes are useful for simultaneously dealing fiery damage and stunning enemies or boosting Lailah’s stats. The idea is to stun nearby foes so that you can get out of range, or temporarily boost your stats if you can’t escape fast enough.
