After defeating Cardinal Forton, speak with the two seraphim at Glaivend Basin who want nothing to do with the corrupted world beyond living their lives together, apart from the troubles of humanity and malevolence. After you battle Heldalf in Aifread’s Hunting Ground, this portion of the sub-event is no longer available.
After Mayvin tells you to collect all of the Iris Gems, return to Glaivend Basin and speak with the female seraph, who tells you that her partner was kidnapped. Once the war begins, this portion of the sub-event is no longer available.
When Tiamat is created on the battlefield, it becomes clear that Heldalf abducted the seraph in order to drive him crazy and turn him into a dragon. After defeating Tiamat, return to Glaivend Basin and battle the Dragon Warlock that waits in the center of the map. If you followed the sub-event storyline, Rose remarks at the end of the battle that she feels like the hellion resented the party. If you return to the overlook and speak with the female seraph again, she wants nothing to do with the party, presumably out of anger that Sorey and Rose killed her partner but purified her. She will have to live on with her sorrow, alone.
