Pistols
Pistols are a controlled choice for your Dual-wield slot. They are easy to use, hit their targets often, and don’t have a big downside. However, they lack the ability to slice through groups like SMGs. And the Exotic Dual Wield options are superior when it comes to firepower.
U-55S Pozhar
You aren’t going to be very happy with the Pozhar unless you don’t have any other options; it’s a mediocre weapon that doesn’t have any use compared to its alternatives.
CS Spectre Mark V
The Spectre barely gives up anything from its other stats to deal major damage compared to the Pozhar. It’s a much better weapon choice for anyone who wants to stay with Pistols. It’s still usurped by the Peacebringer, but you won’t be disappointed when you’re using it!
Submachineguns
Submachineguns (SMGs) have all the firing rate you’ll ever need. They really help to kill off groups of lighter enemies at short range.
Prizrak U4
The Prizrak is a fast-firing SMG that has weaker secondary stats. It’s quite nice when you’re fighting enemies that can be staggered (because your Firing Rate is too high for them to handle). Against anything else, it’s a poor choice.
CS Wraith 225R
The Wraith lays things to waste at short range. It’s a viable weapon at almost any time in the game, and is at its best when destroying groups of weaker targets.
CS9 PDW-k
The CS9 handles quite differently compared to the other SMGs. It’s much slower and has very high damage.
You won’t obliterate groups of weaker targets quite as well because of the loss in Firing Rate, but you can still put the hurt on them and the damage often makes up for it.
The CS9 pays for itself the most when you take on heavier, single targets. The extra damage is most noticeable there, when you’re fighting Elites, Commanders, and other big-ticket enemies.
Exotics
The Exotic guns in the Dual-wield category are there to let you bring massive pain to a battlefield. These heavy hitters take out big targets with prejudice.
CS44 Peacebringer
Speaking of high-health targets, that’s what the Peacebringer is made to take out. This pair of Revolvers is able to give a knock-down punch to your most worrisome targets. Match it with a two-handed weapon that can take on groups so that you have one gun for soft enemies and another for the big guys.
U-24 Zabijak
Another option for destroying heavy enemies is the Zabijak. Pair these Shotguns and ambush your targets around corners. Though weak out in the field, this weapon combo is amazing when you’re fighting inside bases or in other close quarters situations.
