On a clear day, the great Excavators of Cava Grande Secunde are visible from Citate Di Ravello. Though smaller than its parent, Cava Grande, Secunde is just as successful a mine and leaves just as big a scar on the countryside.
Tips
If you liberate Guardia Prospera IV (the next settlement in this guide), then you can drive a Rebel tank (CS Odjur) right through this base and be the boss. You should also be able to find an enemy CS Odjur tank near the larger group of Bavarium refinery stations. Otherwise, we suggest using a Rebel Drop to attack in a helicopter.
For help with the Excavator, see our Excavator tips in the beginning of this chapter. This Excavator is not guarded by Capstones, so having an attack helicopter is helpful. Just make sure to hack the SAM sites first. You can also replenish your rockets (for your rocket launcher) at the nearby resupply building.
