Mission Reward: Insula Dracon FOW disabled
The next mission is up north in Massos, past Corda Dracon. Liberate settlements in Insula Dracon to unlock this mission before you head over there. The mission starts on a small island, so it’s useful to grab a helicopter before taking the trip.
Talk to Dimah and then start your task. This is similar to The Secret of Vis Electra in that you must follow a series of pipes to uncover a militia compound. Take that out so that the FOW for this region goes down. Once that happens, you can Liberate the people.
Follow the Pipes
Grapple and glide over to land, where the marker is glowing. Trace the route of the pipes as they lead under the hills and through a rocky tunnel. Soldiers are ahead, in a lower cavern. Watch out for them and for several boats, as well. You have to kill these guards before you proceed.
Use a rocket launcher to destroy the boat quickly, so that you don’t take much damage. If you see any gunships above, commandeer them and use the choppers’ guns to destroy the enemies below.
Dimah hacks a security gate as you return to the pipes. Swim through another small tunnel, and you soon arrive at the underground site. Their main door is sealed tight, but a tunnel underneath this base lets you slip through anyway, after another swim. You come up the other side and are very close to your destination.
Destroy the Command Node
Use an automatic weapon to eat through the small detachment of guards by the transformers, then detonate those machines. The FOW is disabled, and you’re free to leave the cave. A tunnel straight up lets you grapple out of the cavern quickly and efficiently! And with that, you’re done.
