Capital & Villages & Towns
The capital, villages, and towns are the residential areas of Medici. They have very similar military assets. Most have statues of Di Ravello, speakers, and Di Ravello billboards. Towns are bigger than villages and have those assets and more, such as monitoring systems, propaganda vans, projectors, and captains. The biggest difference is that towns (and the capital) have a police station.
The police stations have internal challenges of their own. Once you’ve beaten the police station challenge and the monitoring system challenge and have destroyed all military assets, you must then raise the Rebel flag to call it liberated. Many towns have garages that are unlocked once liberated. These always have resupply points where you can find Beacons and Flares.
After liberating the capital, villages, or towns, you are sometimes rewarded with a garage, a challenge, and maybe a Rebel Drop vehicle or weapon unlock.
Outposts
Outposts are smaller than bases and primarily service Di Ravello’s campaign in the fields of communications, power production, refueling, oil drilling, and air support. Outposts come in all sizes and varying amounts of defensive power. There are more outposts than any other type of settlement.
Airbases
There are only two airbases in Medici and they’re extremely fortified with tremendous air support. If you take out their surface-to-air defenses early in the battle, you can easily turn their air force against them. Airbase liberation awards you the same type of unlockables as do the bases, towns, and villages.
Bases
Bases vary in their size and the amount of their defensive capabilities. Expect to battle airdropped reinforcements and a base commander in some. Much like liberating a village or town, base liberation comes with rewards, such as a Rebel Drop weapon or vehicle unlock and/or challenges such as a wingsuit course, Land and Sea races, a Demolition Frenzy, or a Crash Bomb challenge. Many bases reward you with multiple challenge unlocks.
Radars
There are three radar bases in Medici: two are located in Insula Fonte (Vigilator Nord, Vigilator Sud), one is located in Insula Dracon (Puncta Sud). These are very large compounds that specialize in spying, information collection, and communications. They are heavily fortified and offer the same liberation rewards as bases, towns, and villages.
Region Central Commands
Known as Centcom for short, these region central command centers are Di Ravello’s theater-level combatant command fortresses. There are three Centcoms in Medici. They all hold vital information to Di Ravello’s army, such as Bavarium research, and are the strongholds from which Di Ravello regional commanders keep Medici under dictatorial control.
