The sheer size of Medici’s ever-expanding military spurred demand for storage and refueling facilities like Guardia Alpha.
Tips
As the name suggests, Guardia Alpha is the first outpost you must liberate. You reach this outpost during the “Time for an Upgrade” mission, near the beginning of the game. You must liberate this outpost in that mission using only your tether. To destroy the four fuel tanks in one shot, attach the first and last tanks in the line and pull them into each other. This takes out all four.
As for the sphere tank, simply tether a nearby fuel drum into the tank and retract it. This explodes, causing the sphere tank to explode and spin in the air. Fascinating to watch. Do the same thing for the two transformers: Pull an explosive barrel into them and watch the mesmerizing electrical explosions.
