True to its name, Cava Grande is the largest single mine in Medici, visible even from space. Known for harsh conditions, it has become the final resting place of over 10,000 Medician souls in the past 50 years.
Tips
Check out our Excavator tips at the beginning of this chapter for help destroying these large mining machines. These particular Excavators do not have Capstones guarding them, so you must take out their generators an alternative way. Since this base is so spread out with assets distributed widely, we suggest hacking the SAMs and then using an air drop or hijacking an attack helicopter to make short work of what could be a long struggle to destroy very heavy machinery. The Bavarium refinery stations are also very difficult to destroy without multiple rockets. If you are going on foot (or gliding around), use our map to find the local weapon cache.
