A peaceful mountain village was leveled to construct Cima Leon’s expansive transmitter complex. The purpose of its heavily guarded transponder is shrouded in mystery.
Tips
For this base liberation, drop in high over the base (jumping from a plane or helicopter) and volley rockets down onto your targets, starting with the sphere tank. Glide over the transponder side of the base (near the Capstone FH155s) and shoot rockets into the middle of the groups of military assets like the core electrical unit.
If the FOV airstrikes are still active when you attack this base, then you want to grapple quickly from point to point without letting your feet hit the ground for long. If the FOV is down, then hack the SAM site and use the Capstones to take out the remaining targets, including the antenna tower and other assets around that area. Resupply your weapons at the cache, and then move to the next location. If you use the helicopter near the Capstones and SAM site, be aware there are a couple more SAMs on the other side of the base itching to knock you out of the sky.
