Just Cause 3 eGuide Basics

Rebel Drops

Rebel drops become unlocked after completing the “Mario’s Rebel Drops” mission. They allow you to receive weapons and vehicles anywhere on the map.

Beacons

Beacons are needed to call in Rebel Drops. These can be found at gas stations or awarded for helping pedestrians and clearing outposts.

Drop Contents

Each drop can contain a vehicle of any type, a Two-handed weapon, a Dual-wield weapon, and a Special weapon. This allows you to completely change your entire load out and mode of transportation on the fly. Until you have unlocked upgraded Mods, each weapon takes a short amount of time before it can be requested again.

Unlocking More Drop Items

Additional items can be unlocked for Rebel Drops by advancing in the story and meeting other requirements.

Garage Blueprints

Blueprints are gathered from any vehicle brought to the garage. The only vehicles that cannot be chopped up for Blueprints are military units.

Military Units

Military Units unlock by clearing bases with the different provinces. Once the base is clear, you are notified that the vehicle is now available for Rebel Drops. No further action is needed.

Special

Special items are unlocked by completing missions and challenges, and by gathering the different collectibles. A small icon next to a locked item indicates what’s needed to unlock the item.
