Planes get you from point A to point B better than anything else in the game. They have top-notch speed and don’t have to worry about roads; you didn’t pay for these, so ditching over any site and parachuting down is totally okay.
Though many are armed, they still can’t take out ground targets as well as a Helicopter. On the flipside, your Planes survive longer, can get away from trouble in mere seconds, and are usually only endangered by other Planes and SAM sites.

U41 Ptakojester
The gargantuan U41 Ptakojester transport plane can hold an impressive 10 full-sized land vehicles in its cargo bay. A landing strip is definitely recommended.
Carmen Albatross
Developed by the Carmen brothers, the Albatross fighter plane was a staple during various sorties in the 1940s. It was abruptly phased out of service in favor of the land-based jets of the 1950s.
