Bavarium was discovered here in the 1970s when a small team of French paleontologists unearthed blue rock near their camp. A meager quarry (“Mine your own Bavarium!”) served as a tourist attraction until Di Ravello militarized the mine shortly after coming to power in Medici.
Tips
There are no SAM sites at this base, so assaulting in an attack helicopter is a no-brainer. If you are on foot, notice that there are Capstone FH155s near each group of Bavarium refinery stations. This will help make short work of these well-armored machines. You can also find enemy tanks to commandeer and use for a ground assault. For Excavator tips, see the beginning of this chapter.
