Fly to Maestrale and begin the last mission. You talk to the full team and then set off after General Di Ravello.
Reach the Volcano and Defeat Di Ravello
Take a jet fighter from the rebel position and fly northwest, toward the big volcano that sets on the border of Medici. A cutscene plays when you arrive, and soon Rico must face off against Di Ravello’s helicopter in the middle of a fiery basin.
There are plenty of Beacons at the top of the volcano. Grab these and make sure that you have some heavy weapons before starting things off.
The Fall of Di Ravello
The enemy chopper has powerful missiles, and its Bavarium shield protects it from damage most of the time. You must time your shots so that you attack when the glowing shield is down.
Use the stone pillars around the basin for cover if you need a few moments to regenerate health while on the ground. Don’t stand still out in the open, or you’re pretty much guaranteed to take major damage.
It’s easiest to dodge his missiles when you’re airborne. Parachute above the helicopter to get a good view and stay safe while waiting out the Bavarium shield. If you want another cue to know when the Bavarium shield is up, look at the General’s health bar; it crackles with energy when the Bavarium shield is active!
It takes four hits with your rockets to bring the helicopter out of the sky.
And with that, you enter the final scene. Decide how you want to handle everything, and then watch the credits. Sandbox Mode is unlocked afterward. This allows you to go back through the world and complete anything that isn’t done quite yet.
Also, you can re-Oppress settlements and Liberate them again, if you’re in the mood to relive some of the most incredible moments from the game!
You’ve really done your part, son of Medici. Vaya con Dios!
